pROJECT dETAILS

A set of illustrations completed in collaboration with staff from Hart House and the Ciimaan/Kahuwe’yá/Qajaq Indigenous Language Initiative at the Centre for Indigenous Studies at the University of Toronto. Based of off a series of audio recordings explaining Indigenous language, this project builds off eloquent translations provided by Professor Ryan DeCaire at the University of Toronto, providing visuals to supplement the work. Intended to be the first of several iterations, these posters focus on Kanien’kéha, or Mohawk language. Learn more about the entire project here.
