Hi there!
A little about me
My name is Alexander Young, and I’m a scientific communicator currently enrolled in the Master of Science in Biomedical Communications (BMC) program at the University of Toronto. I’m a creative thinker that enjoys animated feature films, narrative-driven video games, participating in my Métis community, and when it's time to work, doing so collaboratively in order to solve complex communication problems. I completed my H.BSc in Integrated Science at McMaster University, and after graduating spent three years working as a multimedia designer for post-secondary institutions. My undergraduate degree, time working in the communications field, and my studies as a BMC student have underscored the importance of research, scientific literacy, and the value of multiple disciplines working together when attempting to tell complex scientific stories. My current goal is to use creative, tested solutions to successfully share these stories.
